The LASER TREE K30 is a true 30W+ output laser engraving and cutting module designed for powerful cutting. It uses beam compression technology to combine six 5.5W laser diodes into a single powerful laser beam with 30W+ laser power. Its power can give you a completely different cutting experience.In order to improve the compatiblity to different laser engraver machine, K30 provide a solution by adapter board for electric compatibiliy, and sliding plate with multi holes for installation compatibility. Unboxing

Optical Power

The optical power of the laser module is a very important parameter, which determines the cutting capacity of the laser module.Next, we measure the real optical power of K30 and V2 with a power meter.Before the measurement we clean their lenses with alcohol to avoid affecting the results.

Through the power meter, we can see that the actual optical power of K30 can reach 34.2W, which is 12W higher than the 21.7W optical power of V2.

Design Differences

Temperature Display

K30 laser module also has a temperature display function, you can easily check the internal temperature of the module.When the operating temperature of the laser module exceeds 55°C, an alarm will be issued through the buzzer. Of course, you can also use the Alarm ON/OFF button on the top of the module to turn off the alarm sound when the buzzer is alarming, but we do not recommend you to do so, because the laser module working at high temperature for a long time has an impact on the service life.

We have created a cutting database for our laser modules, so we can easily know the extreme cutting parameters of a particular module.Our database test criteria are divided into two cases:If the material can be cut in one pass, then we cut six square squares of equal size at different speeds on a 10x10cm test plate, which will visually reflect the ultimate cutting performance of our laser module.

When engraving, the higher the laser power setting, the more visible the engraving will be. If the power remains the same, the engraving will be more visible if the speed is slower. If the power and speed remain the same, the smaller the line gap, the more obvious the engraving will still be. Therefore, we have created a grayscale test template for engraving test, which is for different speed and different power for engraving test, with a fixed line gap of 0.1mm.When you want to use the same material for engraving, you can refer to our test results to choose the suitable parameter settings.
